Background:

<aside> 📌 Dost Education’s vision is to turn every home into a learning center by giving parents tools to support their child’s early development and lifelong learning. Dost empowers parents to take charge of their child's early education by creating short, friendly audio content that is sent to them via their mobile phones. Along with this focus on early education, they support the family as a whole through the parents’ mental health and emotional-social wellbeing.

🤝 Partnership Objectives:

Team4Tech partnered with Dost from 2019-2022, co-designing solutions to improve outreach, content, and digital skills to help Dost scale their early learning programs to families across India.

Grant Budget Analysis:

<aside> <img src="/icons/library_gray.svg" alt="/icons/library_gray.svg" width="40px" /> Dost put their grant budget towards purchasing specific technology (including tablets and a CRM) and software (data collection tools, cloud infrastructure). This grant supported Dost’s ability to improve monitoring & evaluation processes and increase their outreach by supporting parent champions. Dost also used grant funds to ramp up their tech infrastructure. Dost has also focused on supporting digital design capacity and their reach for government support.

Partnership Impact:

⭐️ Technology and training support from Team4Tech have supported Dost in scaling their early learning programs to families across India.

• When our partnership began, Dost served 10,000 families in Delhi. Since then, Dost has scaled significantly—they are now working in 120 districts across nine states in India, reaching 300,000 families directly and 500,000 families through government partnerships.

⭐️In 2020, Dost formed a partnership with UNICEF India, and the projects they did with Team4Tech played a significant role in the collaboration.
