<aside> 📌 Kidspire Vietnam exists to help children who are growing up in Vietnamese orphanages to be better prepared for their futures. Kidspire hopes to help each of them to go on to university and/or enter the workforce in a role that excites them, where they have the opportunity for career development and advancement. Kidspire does this by teaching critical computing skills that are necessary in the modern workplace. Using S.T.E.M. focused lessons, Kidspire’s learning environment is designed to increase student self-confidence while developing critical thinking and enhancing communication and creativity.

Since 2014, Team4Tech has partnered with Kidspire Vietnam to provide technology solutions and training to empower students to develop digital literacy as well as lifelong learning skills.
Team4Tech’s initial projects with Kidspire Vietnam focused on installing computer labs and delivering workshops for teachers. The goal was to build digital literacy and ensure that students were equipped with strong technology skills upon graduation.
As staff capacity and student skills grew, Kidspire staff became excited about the possibility of using maker tools for more hands-on projects to broaden their students’ creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication skills.
