By partnering with Team4Tech, The African Soup will evolve in its operations and services to provide high quality, practical education to students, teachers, and community members. They will have access to appropriate technology, the skills needed to use technology on a regular basis, and the capacity to sustain and expand their use of technology well beyond the partnership terms with Team4Tech.

The African Soup’s vision is to have their staff and students empowered rather than intimidated by technology. Their staff will use technology on a daily basis, capturing organizational knowledge, sharing learning content, and tracking program progress. Their reporting will be timely and accurate, and their monitoring and evaluation system will be optimized so that they can collect and analyze data with efficiency and accuracy to make operational improvements.

After 3-5 years of partnership with Team4Tech, The African Soup’s school and office-based staff will be proficient in the use of a range of technological resources including Google applications, Microsoft Office programs, other web-based information sharing platforms. Their students and community members have a level of computer literacy that allows them to excel in secondary school, tertiary education, and their careers. They will have the resources, staff, and plans in place to ensure their continued success using technology and have the capacity to identify future needs and the financial and technical means to meet them.
