Background:

<aside> 📌 Since 2007, Vietnet-ICT supports communities, especially disadvantaged Vietnamese people, to get access and benefit from information technology and communication services via promoting partnership and capacity building.

🤝 Partnership Objectives:

Vietnet-ICT is aiming to develop a holistic, effective, inclusive training program regarding digital citizenship skills, based on foresight approach so that the targeted groups would be ready in the present, and in the long-term when chaos of changes of the technological revolution. They are asking for support in tech infrastructure, strategy development, and staff capacity building.

Grant Budget Analysis:

<aside> <img src="/icons/library_gray.svg" alt="/icons/library_gray.svg" width="40px" /> Vietnet-ICT utilized their grant for training, equipment for the training room, multi-communication channels, and other digital and tech capacity improvements. The grant supported funded a series of training activities for the visually impaired, including an Hour of Code campaign and other digital skill training. They also hosted a training session on Google Ads for NGOs, with 20 participating organizations. Vietnet-ICT invested in new tech for their training room and communication studio. They also used the grant towards a multi-communication channels for community, including a content creator and video editor.

Vietnet-ICT has had many opportunities to expand their project activities and make a direct impact on 709 beneficiaries and nearly 30k indirect beneficiaries, as well as raise awareness on digital skills to more than 2 million people.
